Become a TBTHD Social Media Ambassador
Learn the reality of Huntington’s disease, then help the world see it. As a Take Back Tomorrow HD Foundation social media ambassador, you can help more people understand HD, follow progress toward treatment, and recognize the financial barriers that may keep families from accessing care.
You do not need a large following or professional experience. A personal account, a community group, or a small circle of engaged followers can make a difference. Bring your curiosity, creativity, and passion—we’ll help you find ways to put them to work.
Share Stories That Make HD Personal
Help people see the individuals and families behind the diagnosis. Share your own connection to HD, explain why treatment access matters to you, or repost stories the Foundation has approved for sharing.
You might record a short “Why I support TBTHD” video, post a tribute honoring someone you love with #TBTHD, or share a Foundation story with a personal note about what moved you. Always ask permission before sharing someone else’s story or personal details.
Make Complex Information Easier to Understand
Help your audience understand what treatment progress means—and what still needs to happen before patients can receive care.
For example, share an educational post explaining the difference between a clinical trial and an approved treatment, highlight questions families can ask their doctors, or explain why FDA approval and insurance coverage are separate steps. Use Foundation-provided materials to keep information accurate and distinguish hopeful developments from confirmed outcomes.
Start Conversations and Bring People Together
Use your platform to invite questions, build awareness, and connect people with our mission. Host a live conversation about why you became involved, invite a Foundation representative to speak with your online community, or organize a week of posts introducing HD and the need for treatment access.
You can also help promote events, share volunteer opportunities, celebrate fundraising milestones, or invite your workplace, school, or community group to get involved.
Turn Awareness Into Action
Give people a clear next step. Invite followers to learn about HD, share an educational post, volunteer their skills, or support treatment-access funding.
A birthday fundraiser, a short video introducing our mission, or a simple post explaining what a donation helps us prepare for can introduce the Foundation to people who might never have heard of us.
Resources Are Coming Soon
A TBTHD press packet is in development and coming soon. We are preparing background information, key messages, and shareable materials to help ambassadors introduce the Foundation and communicate our mission with confidence.
You do not have to wait for the packet to get involved. Contact us to explore the opportunity now. Tell us which platforms you use, what connects you to our mission, and how you would like to help.
Your platform—big or small—can help more families feel seen and more people understand why access matters.
